Make/do: Check out our Final Week!

…and here we are. The last few days of Make/do @Nunhead Corner.

But there are still loads of things to drop in for:

Tues 1st @ 8-10pm: Craft Night
IMG_20140606_200431As usual, a plethora of cake & tea will be provided to aid crafting & conversation. Bring whatever you are working on, be it stitching or sticking.
If you don’t have anything, then we’ll have some ideas to spark your imagination to make for good.
We’d love to support some inventive causes including:
I am Supercapes – Bring any large pieces of spare fabric you have and we’ll make some supercapes to give children the power to be children. We’ll have some spare fabric, a template & sewing machines…
Lisa’s Stars – Bring your odd balls of pastel 4-ply & DK to knit some tiny blankets for babies born sleeping¬† pre-24 weeks. We’ll have the patterns & will send off your completed pieces to the rep for Kings, St Thomas’s & Great Ormond Street.
If you have another charity close to your heart that needs crafters, bring details & we’ll see what we can do.

Wed & Thurs 2nd & 3rd @ 10-6
We’re open for business as usual 10am – 6pm both days, and will have some great last minute offers to tickle your fancy. Browse our wools, fabrics & notions before it all goes a bit bonkers on Thursday night.
This will be your last chance to drop in for craft surgery, to ask us advice, & to use the machines & cutting table.

PIMMS-CUP_hi-resThursday 3rd @ 6-10pm – The Last Hurrah
An evening of Pimms, prizes & promotions. Our last evening in Nunhead Corner we hope will be a great celebration of all that has been created & inspired over the whole 42 days, saluted with some tall glasses crowned with fruit.
Come along with something you have made since 24th May, and we’ll have some prizes to give out.

And we’ll have the biggest haberdashery sale that Nunhead has ever seen* (Disclaimer: *we think) so make sure you are armed with a list of what you need^ (^Need is a flexible term and includes ‘want’, ‘desire’…)

We’d also love you to add to our #MakeDo42 galleries on Facebook & Pinterest. Tweet us your photos to @make_do_crafts and tag #makedo42 and we’ll add them to our galleries.

Make/do Workshops Update… & prizes!

Just 2 weeks into our pop-up, we have had some great workshops, and some happy crafters going home with new skills & homewares. See the photos on our facebook page.

Here are some of the new & updated classes coming up this week, including prizes to be won…
